Ian Emerson

Ian Emerson is a Senior Staff Engineer at Geosyntec Consultants, with prior experience as a Civil Designer at GRAEF and KCI Technologies, where Ian focused on drainage simulations and stormwater analysis. As a Coastal Engineer at Coastal Science & Engineering, Ian conducted wave and coastal analyses and collected sediment samples. Ian holds a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an MBA from Georgia Tech, along with a BA in Linguistics from the University of Chicago. Additionally, Ian has contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant and Outreach Coordinator at Georgia Tech, a Research Assistant at the Georgia Tech EDA University Center, and participated in various internships, including planning company events and supporting software quality assurance at Epic.
