Darren Beams

Darren is the Vice President of Embedded Systems Development at Geotab and has been writing code for over 20 years. He has a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, which helped foster a love of software with an electronics bent. He has been working with Geotab since the inception of the first North American released GO device in 2002, and officially joined the business when he moved to Canada in 2009 as the sole firmware engineer. He has since grown the embedded development team to a cohesive group of over 30 embedded systems engineers and developers who consistently deliver exceptional products with a focus on functionality and reliability.
