Jean Legault

Jean Legault has a strong background in geophysics with over 30 years of experience. Jean began their career as an exploration geophysicist at Sagax Geophysique Inc. in 1985 and worked there until 1989. Jean then moved on to Quantec Geoscience Ltd., where they held the position of Senior Geophysicist from 1990 to 2008. Currently, they are the Chief Geophysicist at Geotech Ltd. since 2008.

Jean Legault completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Geological/Geophysical Engineering at Queen's University from 1978 to 1982. Jean then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mining and Mineral Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal from 1982 to 1985. Jean Legault obtained additional certifications throughout their career, including being a Geologue from Ordre des Géologues du Québec in 2010, a Professional Geoscientist from Professional Geoscientists Ontario in 2003, and a Professional Engineer (PE) from Professional Engineers Ontario in 1997.
