Ashley Zuniga, PhD has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as an Undergrad Assistant in Biophysics Research at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2011. Ashley then moved to Arizona Chemical, a Kraton Company in 2012, where they worked as a Science and Technology Co-op in Chemistry Industry R&D. In 2014, they worked as a Regulatory Intern and Instructor at Micromeritics Instrument Corporation. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at the University of Florida College of Medicine as an Immunologist and Project Lead in Research. In 2019, they worked as a Biomedical Intern at The Milken Institute Center for Strategic Philanthropy, a Non-Profit Think Tank. Finally, in 2020, they began working at IQVIA as a Global Project Manager and Program Lead at Q Squared Solutions Central Laboratories. Currently, they are the Director of Project Management at GeoVax Labs, Inc.
Ashley Zuniga received their Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014. Ashley then went on to receive their Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 2020. Additionally, in 2020 they obtained certifications in Business Development: Strategic Planning and Project Management Foundations from LinkedIn.
