Douglas Rozas

Douglas Rozas has worked in the geoscience industry since 2005. Douglas began their career as a Mudlogging Geologist at Epoch Well Services before moving to C&C Technologies as a Geophysicist in the same year. In 2008, they joined EP ENERGY as a Sr. Development Geologist (Eagleford) and Dev/Exp Geophysicist (North Louisiana). From 2014 to 2019, they worked at Southwestern Energy as a Sr. Geologist (Fayetteville Shale), Team Lead (Moorefield), and Sr. Development Geologist (Fayetteville Shale). During this time, they led a team of 8 cross-functional roles, managed collaboration for an exploration team of 15 professionals, and identified areas for improvement. In 2019, they began working at Targeted GeoVision, LLC as a Geosteering Manager and Geologist, and at DATALOG Geological Services, LLC as a Wellsite Geologist.

Douglas Rozas obtained their B.S. in Geology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2005. Douglas then went on to pursue a Masters in Geology and Geophysics from the same university, which they completed in 2008. In November 2020, they obtained a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer certification from CrossFit Education.
