Engineering Lead at GeoVisual Analytics

Matthew Kotalik has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and development. Matthew started their career at the Bureau of Land Management in 2003 as a Computer Specialist, where they designed and implemented educational websites and developed modular web applications. Matthew then worked at Lockheed Martin Information Technology from 2005 to 2007 as a Software Engineer, where they developed J2EE software and implemented connections to external systems. Matthew joined Lockheed Martin in 2007 as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on developing Situational Awareness software and leading a team. Matthew then moved to ClickFox in 2012 as a Senior Software Engineer, responsible for implementing REST-based services and reverse engineering functionality. In 2015, they joined Parkifi as a Senior Software Engineer, collaborating with other engineers to develop a hardware and cloud-based solution for finding parking. Finally, Matthew is currently working at GeoVisual Analytics as an Engineering Lead, leveraging their expertise in software engineering.

Matthew Kotalik obtained a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Colorado School of Mines in 2002. Matthew then went on to earn an MS in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution from 2002 to 2004.
