Lukas Wiss

Lukas Wiss is a Geo-IT-Spezialist at GeoWerkstatt GmbH since January 2024, focused on developing and implementing solutions for geodata analysis, quality assurance, and integration. Prior to this, Lukas served as Head of the GIS Specialist Group at HOLINGER AG, leading a team of GIS power users and managing internal GIS development projects. In earlier roles, Lukas worked as a GIS Specialist, gaining expertise in data analysis, visualization, and GIS strategy development. Experience also includes positions as a bike messenger for KurierZentrale and Metropol Kurier, as well as an internship in GIS and informatics at Kanton Aargau. Academic qualifications include a CAS in Spatial Information Systems from ETH Zürich and a Master of Science in Remote Sensing, Meteorology, and Climatology from the University of Basel, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Geosciences from the same institution.
