Sambit Mohapatra

Sambit Mohapatra is a seasoned professional with over 13 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management within the steel and alloy industries. Currently serving as a Manager at BMM ISPAT LTD. since May 2019, Sambit manages a monthly spending of ₹60-70 Crores on coal sourcing for various production units. Prior to this, Sambit held positions as Assistant Manager at Electrosteel Steels Ltd., Executive-Commercial at Balasore Alloys Limited, and Junior Manager (Purchase) at Bhushan Steel Ltd., demonstrating a progressive career in managing procurement plans and supplier performance. Sambit holds an MBA in Finance and Marketing from KIIT University, completed in 2010.
