Philippe (Phil) Gerard

Phil Gerard has a diverse work experience in the nonprofit sector. Philippe (Phil) is currently the President & CEO of Gerard Search, where they help nonprofit organizations find the right individuals for their positions. Prior to this, Phil worked as an Instructor in Fundraising & Resource Development at Georgian College from 2009 to 2015. Philippe (Phil) also served as the Director of Advancement at Simon Fraser University from 2011 to 2014 and at the University of British Columbia from 2008 to 2011. Phil held the role of Director of Advancement at Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Health Sciences from 2006 to 2008. Philippe (Phil) has experience in fundraising and community relations, having worked as the Director of Development and Community Relations at St Thomas More Collegiate, where they successfully raised funds for a capital campaign and construction project. Phil's earlier roles include Community Relations Coordinator at the University of the Fraser Valley and Marketing Manager at Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fraser Valley, where they managed development, public relations, and marketing activities.

Philippe (Phil) Gerard pursued higher education, beginning in 1996 and ending in 2007. From 1996 to 2002, they attended the University of the Fraser Valley, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Media and Communications. Following this, in 2006 and 2007, Phil attended the University of Phoenix, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, focusing on Human Resources Management.
