Diego Nascimento

Diego Nascimento has extensive experience in supply chain management, currently serving as Coordenador de Suprimentos at Gerdau since August 2008. In this role, Diego oversees national procurement of indirect materials with an annual spend of approximately R$ 500 million, managing a team focused on inventory, service levels, and cost efficiency across 27 units. Previous positions at Gerdau include leading account management for the category of rolling cylinders and discs, senior buyer for fuels and lubricants, and numerous roles in purchasing that contributed to significant cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Diego also has experience as an administrative assistant at Grupo Queiroz Galvão and an intern at Sebrae, combined with advanced education, including an MBA in Business Management and Competitive Intelligence from ESPM and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro.
