Guilherme Maximiliano Lima

Guilherme Maximiliano Lima, PMP®, has over two decades of experience in project management and engineering, primarily in the steel and automotive industries. Currently serving as Regional Engineering Manager for Gerdau since December 2011, Guilherme oversees a portfolio of industrial capital projects exceeding $85 million and manages a multidisciplinary CapEx engineering team. Previous expatriate roles include project management positions in the USA and Mexico, focusing on industrial expansion and automation projects in significant steel manufacturing facilities. Prior experience includes engineering coordination at Voith Industrial Services, where Guilherme managed maintenance contracts and implemented management tools, and site management at Schuler Group, handling project planning and execution for automotive industries. Guilherme holds an MBA in Project Management from FGV and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from FEI.
