Wendel Gomes Da Silva

Wendel Gomes has extensive experience in the mining and raw materials sector, currently serving as Executive Director at Gerdau since February 2012, where responsibilities include leading mining operations with a P&L of USD 250 million EBITDA and overseeing more than 2,000 employees as a member of the executive committee. Additionally, Wendel has held positions including Executive Manager and General Manager of Commercial and Logistics for Iron Ore at MRS Logística S.A. since May 2021, and has served on the Board of Directors for Samarco since August 1998, with roles such as Board Advisor for Governance and Compliance and various managerial positions in sales and marketing. Wendel holds multiple degrees, including an MBA in Global e-Management from Erasmus University Rotterdam, an MBA in Management from Fundação Dom Cabral, a Graduate in Marketing from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, and a Bachelor's in Metallurgical Engineering and Industrial Quality from respective institutions.
