Isabelle Vial

Isabelle Vial is the Materials R&D Director at Gerflor since January 2012, leading teams in materials development with a focus on innovation, safety, productivity, and environmental considerations for various sectors including construction, sports, and aerospace. Prior to Gerflor, Isabelle held multiple roles at Porcher Industries from 1998 to 2012, including Responsable R&D and project management for new products, concentrating on rubber reinforcements and thermoplastic composites. Isabelle began her career at Elf Atochem from 1995 to 1998, where research involved the synthesis and properties of polyurethane acrylate resins. Isabelle Vial holds a Doctorate in Polymer and Composite Materials, earned at INSA Lyon, along with a DEA and an engineering degree from the same institution.
