Thomas Ferguson

Thomas Ferguson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Thomas began their career in 2000 as a nursing home physician at Stichting Zorginstellingen Loosdrecht, where they worked until 2001. From 2001 to 2009, they served as a nursing home physician and manager at Aveant. In 2007, they joined VUmc as the Manager of the GeriMedica project, a role they held until 2018. In 2008, they took on the position of Director at GeriMedica, a company focused on electronic medical records and research in elderly and mental disability care. Since 2010, they have also been a board member at Basisschool De Nijepoort. Recently, they became a board member at Stichting Nuts in 2019 and will join Stichting Leading Doctors in 2023. Additionally, they have master level involvement with Avatar® Netwerk since 2000.

Thomas Ferguson attended Maastricht University from 1986 to 1995. During this time, they pursued a degree in Geneeskunde, also known as Medicine, and earned the distinction of "drs. geneeskunde." Thomas also obtained an MD, Basisarts degree from the same university.
