Mert Gerdan

Mert Gerdan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in corporate communications and business ownership. Currently serving as the Corporate Communications Director at GERMUHENDISLIK Machinery and Engineering since January 2014, Mert also owned buy steel co, specializing in global steel trade until April 2023, and founded Project AMT Gerdan. Previously, Mert held the position of Managing Director at Scavolini S.p.A. in Manchester from June 2012 to November 2014 and completed an internship at Temsa Global focusing on research and development. Mert's early career included a role as Assistant Manager at Lotus Thai in Florida. Mert holds degrees in Russian Language and Literature from The University of Manchester, (Hons) Automation & Control Engineering from The Manchester Metropolitan University, and a foundation degree in Engineering and Management from the University of Exeter, along with an Associate's degree in International Business from Northwest Florida State College. Mert graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School with a diploma in AP Physics and other honours subjects.
