Daniel Villanueva

Daniel Villanueva, Ph.D., serves as the Global Education Manager at the World Affairs Councils of America, overseeing the Academic WorldQuest competition and fostering additional global education initiatives. Holding concurrent roles as First Vice President of the German-American Heritage Foundation and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nevada Reno, Daniel's responsibilities range from strategic planning and scholarship administration to teaching honors courses. Additional experience includes work as a translator for the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles, and leadership positions at Cultural Vistas, the Nevada System of Higher Education, and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in German Studies from Duke University and has extensive academic and administrative experience in honors education and international relations.
