Axel Buerkle

Axel Buerkle is an experienced consultant currently working at Online Business Systems since June 2012 and serving as a board member for German-Canadian Congress Inc. since 2016. Previously, Axel held positions as a consultant and head of the research group "Distributed Systems" at Fraunhofer IOSB from October 2009 to June 2012, and as a software engineer for Project Whitecard from March 2012 to May 2012. Additionally, Axel served as a project manager at Fraunhofer IITB from April 2004 to September 2009 and worked as a research assistant at Universität Karlsruhe (TH) between June 1998 and March 2004. Axel obtained a PhD in Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2004, following a Dipl.-Inform. in Computer Science from the same institution, completed in 1998.
