Jawid Shoja is a dedicated research assistant at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) since May 2023, working on AMD grading within the Rheinland Studie. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Biomedical Science with a focus on Biomedical/Medical Engineering at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, started in September 2021, Jawid's academic journey includes a previous role as a research assistant at Uniklinikum Bonn from April 2022 to September 2022 and experience as a general practitioner at the Ministry of National Defense from September 2019 to August 2021. Prior medical experience includes serving as an internal medicine physician at Watan Hospital between January 2019 and September 2020. Jawid's educational background includes a degree in curative medicine from Kabul University of Medical Science, completed in 2019, and a high school diploma from Marefat High School, earned in 2012.
