Mohammad Shahid

Mohammad Shahid is an accomplished professional in the field of neurodegenerative diseases and computational life sciences, currently serving as an MRI Data Manager at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE) since January 2014. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate at the Fraunhofer Institute for Algorithms and Scientific Computing, where focus was on systems approaches to brain polypharmacology, and a Research Assistant position at the Fraunhofer Institute IMK/IAIS, involved in web development for monitoring optical fiber networks. Mohammad began a career in academia as a Student Intern at the University of Bielefeld, specializing in web development for proteomics. Educational credentials include a PhD and a Master's degree in Computational Life Sciences and Life Science Informatics from the University of Bonn, along with multiple degrees in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding and Computer Science from institutions in Pakistan.
