Mike Kewelar

Mike Kewelar is an experienced technology leader currently serving as the Director of Technology at the German European School Singapore since August 2020. In this role, Mike oversees the technology strategy and operations while managing a team of IT professionals, advising the school management on the IT roadmap, and ensuring efficient technology operations and budget management. Prior to this, Mike held the position of Director of Information Technology at Singapore American School from June 2011 to July 2020, where responsibilities included the development and implementation of an educational technology plan for over 4,400 users. Earlier experience includes roles at Siemens IT Solutions and Services Singapore as Project/Service Delivery/Onsite Support Manager and as a Desktop Support Engineer at Deutsche Extrakt Kaffee, with initial work experience beginning as an administrative professional at Stadt Nordenham. Mike holds a degree in Public Administration from Nds Studieninstitut fuer kommunale Verwaltung and completed foundational education in Germany.
