Mechthild Wagner

Mechthild Wagner has an extensive career in public administration and scientific collaboration, with significant experience in various roles within the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, Germany. Wagner served as Senior Officer for Eastern Partnerships, Russia, and Central Asia from November 2016 until retirement. Previous positions include Head of Division for Science and Research at the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Warsaw, Senior Expert in the Federal Ministry, Science Counselor at the Embassy in Washington DC, and Senior Project Controller at the German Aerospace Center. Additionally, Wagner began a career at the German Academic Exchange Service as an Exchange Officer. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Geology/Palaeontology from The University of Bonn and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Mittelrheinische Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie.
