Maram Tawil is a distinguished academic in the field of architecture and built environment, currently serving as a Visiting Professor at RWTH Aachen University since September 2022. With a long-standing tenure at German Jordanian University since July 2014, Maram Tawil has held various prominent positions including Dean and Vice Dean of the School of Architecture and Built Environment, as well as Head of the Department of Architecture. Previously, Maram Tawil was Head of the Department of Architecture at Applied Science University from September 2010 to July 2014, focusing on curriculum development and technology integration. Maram Tawil began an academic career as a Researcher and Lecturer at German Jordanian University and held the position of Assistant Professor at Applied Science University. Maram Tawil holds a PhD in Spatial Planning from TU Dortmund University and a Master's degree in Urban Design from the University of Kassel.
