Sven Fuchs

Sven Fuchs has a diverse work experience in various research and engineering roles. Sven started their career in 2007 as a Project Engineer at Grundwasser Consulting Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH, where they were responsible for groundwater development and environmental monitoring projects. In 2009, they joined Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam - German Research Centre GFZ as a Research Associate and completed their Ph.D. in this role. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University. Since 2016, they have been associated with Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam - German Research Centre GFZ in various capacities, including a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellowship and currently as a Research Group Lead.

Sven Fuchs received their Diplom-Ingenieur Hydrogeologie degree in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences from Technische Universität Berlin in 2007. Sven later earned a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Geology from the University of Potsdam in 2013.
