Wassim Alexan

Wassim Alexan currently serves as the Editor in Chief of the IECE International Journal of Intelligent Signal Processing, a position held since February 2025, while also acting as Guest Editor for Springer Link's Discover Imaging Journal and Academic Editor for IET Computers & Digital Techniques Journal. Wassim Alexan holds an academic position as Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at The German University in Cairo, where prior roles included Assistant Professor and Research Assistant Lecturer. Additionally, adjunct faculty roles are held at the German International University. Wassim Alexan is actively involved with the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce as Chairman of the AdA Board of Examinations and has experience as an English/Arabic Language Instructor. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate of Business Administration in Strategic Management, a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership, an MBA, a PhD in Communications Engineering, an MSc in Communications Engineering, and a BSc in Communications Engineering, all from the German University in Cairo, along with IGCSE qualifications from St. Fatima School.
