Courtney Thraen

Courtney Thraen is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in community engagement, economic development, and partnership facilitation. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the German Village Society since March 2025, Courtney works with the Board of Trustees to enhance community ties and membership outreach. Previous roles include Director of Sector Partnerships at ASPYR, where significant career summits were organized, and Economic Development Manager for the City of Gahanna, overseeing business retention efforts. Courtney has held several leadership positions, including Executive Director of Downtown Framingham, Inc., and has a diverse educational background, including an ongoing Executive MBA from The Ohio State University.
