Andreas Preschl is the Head of Hardware Architecture at German Bionic, a position held since November 2017, responsible for overseeing electronics development and hardware-related software while ensuring technical excellence across product generations. Preschl has played pivotal roles as Engineering Manager Electronics, focusing on team leadership, hardware industrialization, and product development for scalability and cost-efficiency, as well as as Senior Electrical Engineer, where significant contributions included the complete redesign of a battery-powered sensor product and coordination of external development partners. Earlier experience includes roles in electronics manufacturing at Fujitsu, and a practical background in signaling technology with DB Netz AG. Andreas Preschl holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronic Systems from Technische Hochschule Augsburg and Ulster University, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Technische Hochschule Augsburg.
