Heather Fisher

Heather Fisher, Ed.D. began their work experience in 1996 as a Teacher at Shelby County Schools. Heather later became the President of Shelby County Education Association from 2009 to 2011. In 2014, they transitioned to the role of Assistant Principal at Dogwood Elementary. Currently, since June 2021, they are serving as the Principal of Germantown Municipal School District. Throughout their career, they have also participated in educational conferences and given workshops based on strategies learned at Harvard's Project Zero Conference.

Heather Fisher, Ed.D. earned a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) degree in Educational Leadership from Union University, completing this program from 2000 to 2004. Additionally, they earned an Educational Specialist degree from the same institution during the same time period. Earlier in their education, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from The University of Memphis from 1993 to 1996.
