Jefferson Chase

Jefferson Chase is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in writing, translating, and media production. As a Senior Communications Specialist at Germany Trade & Invest since March 2019, Jefferson handles English communications for the German government's international business promotion agency, excelling in various formats such as print, video, podcasts, and social media. Jefferson has also worked as a freelance writer and translator, translating over 40 books from German to English, including notable works by Volker Ullrich. Earlier roles include serving as a TV Producer and Online Reporter at Deutsche Welle and as a University Lecturer in German at the University of Nottingham. Jefferson holds a Bachelor of Arts in German and Modern European History from Harvard University and a PhD in German Studies from the University of Virginia.
