Marion Lükemann

Marion Lükemann has extensive work experience in the international healthcare and pharmaceutical industry. From 2016 to present, they have served as the Director of Health Made in Germany, an initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, implemented by Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI). In this role, Marion oversees all trade promotion activities for the healthcare sector, supporting German companies in expanding internationally.

Prior to their current role, Marion worked at GTAI from 2011 to 2016 as a Senior Manager in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Biotechnology Industry. Marion was responsible for marketing strategy-related activities in these sectors, supporting German healthcare companies in expanding into international markets. Their tasks included market analysis, strategy development, trade fair participation management, and promotion of industry trends and international health policies.

Marion's work experience also includes their time at Berlin-Chemie AG, a German subsidiary of the Italian Menarini group. From 2006 to 2011, they served as the Export Manager for Russia, managing commercial relations with key account customers. Marion was responsible for strategic market analysis, sales planning, accounts receivable management, and interface control between registration, production, and export.

Furthermore, Marion had a role as the Personal Assistant to the Head of the Export Division at Berlin-Chemie AG from 2006 to 2007.

Additionally, Marion worked as a Seconded Export Coordinator at Inter-Sicherheits-Service GmbH in Gorzów, Poland from 2005 to 2006.

Marion Lükemann's education history begins in 1996 when they attended Universität Passau, where they earned a Master of Arts degree in International Culture and Business Studies, which they completed in 2003. In 1999, they had the opportunity to study as a distinguished international scholar at Ивановский Государственный Университет (ИвГУ) with a fellowship from the University of Passau. Marion's academic journey continued in 2008 when they enrolled at European-University Viadrina to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Management, which they completed in 2009.
