Cody Jenson

Cody Jenson is a seasoned professional in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Director of GIS at National Grid Renewables since April 2012, Cody has held progressively responsible roles including Senior GIS Manager, GIS Manager, and GIS Specialist. Prior to this position, Cody worked at Xcel Energy as a GIS Technician, leading the Cathodic Protection Project and managing data reliability for gas and electric facilities. Cody's career began as a Cartography Technician at Garmin International, where project leadership for TOPO U.S. was undertaken. Additionally, an internship at the U.S. Geological Survey involved support for a vegetation research project and automation of geospatial data. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Geographic Information Systems from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in Geography with a GIS concentration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
