Dianna Kost (She/her)

Facilities Administrative Assistant at Gersh Autism

Hello! I’m Dianna Kost. With over 20 years of experience as an administrative assistant, I’ve navigated the professional world with dedication and skill. But my career journey doesn’t stop there. I also worked as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler II, specializing in military spec assignments and hybrid assembly processes that may include surface mount, die attachment, and wire bonding—a role I loved deeply. This passion for hands-on work runs in the family—my dad was an engineer, and my mother was an assembler for military spec assignments.

Family First: My family is my North Star, guiding me through life’s twists and turns. Together, we create a symphony of love and strength, supporting each other through every challenge. As a wife, mother of four, and grandmother of eight, my family constellation shines brightly, weaving a tapestry of love and support.

Passionate Advocate: I actively support Alzheimer’s and cancer organizations, inspired by my brave family members who battle these diseases. Their courage fuels my commitment to making a difference.

Community Spirit: In 2020, I weaved and created over 3,000 face masks, which I donated to nursing homes, schools, and frontline workers, a testament to our community spirit. I was inspired by my compassionate heart and a desire to show my children and grandchildren the importance of contributing to society with integrity, a value I learned from my grandmother, who was a wedding gown seamstress. Even though I didn’t know how to sew, I believed that if my grandmother could do it, we could too.

Travel Enthusiast: Traveling is my passion, and I cherish every adventure. Each journey is a magical and mystical experience, filled with wonder and discovery, as I explore new places and cultures.

Lover of Life: I LOVE soccer, music, dancing, swimming, roller skating, and walks on the beach. Meditation keeps me grounded, and spending time with my unique, fun, and lovable grandchildren brings me immense joy.

Rock-Solid Relationship: My husband is my rock, and I couldn’t imagine life without him. Together, we navigate life’s journey with unwavering support and love.

Lifelong Learner: I’m always learning new things and taking classes to stay current. This passion for growth keeps me adaptable and ready for new challenges.

Fun and Driven: I love to have fun and get things done. “No sleep for the weary” is my motto, and I thrive on balancing enjoyment with productivity.

Compassionate Support: I also worked in a funeral home for over 12 years, helping people through their grieving process. This experience taught me the importance of empathy and support during life’s most challenging times.

Current Role: Now, I work at Gersh Autism as a Facilities Administrative Assistant. This role is incredibly rewarding in helping children on the autism spectrum and allows me to make a positive impact every day.

I look forward to building solid relationships with my colleagues and creating a collaborative work environment.
