Otr/L Lynzie Smith

Lynzie Smith, OTR/L, is an Occupational Therapist currently employed at Gersh Autism since September 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a Chiropractic Assistant at West End Chiropractic, where responsibilities involved providing physical agent modalities and maintaining patient records. Lynzie completed Level IIB Fieldwork at Gersh Autism in late 2022, delivering occupational therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, and collaborated with an interdisciplinary team. Additional fieldwork at NYU Langone Medical Center included treatment for individuals with various injuries. Lynzie has also held leadership roles in Stony Brook University's Student Occupational Therapy Association, participating in advisory meetings and representing students at the AOTA conference. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Stony Brook School of Health Professions and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Stony Brook University.
