Kasey Hurst

Kasey Hurst has a diverse range of work experience in graphic and web design, marketing, and customer service. In 2012, they worked as a waitress at Luther Haven Retirement Comm from September 2012 to November 2013. In 2015, Kasey worked as a cafe worker at Kickapoo Coffee Roasters. Kasey then gained experience as a freelance illustrator at ScottAdv in June 2016. From October 2016 to January 2020, they worked as a host at Merriment Social. Kasey also interned at Omnivore | A Foodservice Advertising Agency from July 2018 to September 2019, where they contributed to major client photoshoots and retouched product photos. In 2018, Kasey joined Merrimen Social, Flourchild Pizza + Third Coast Provisions as a graphic designer and marketing assistant. In December 2019, they became a graphic designer at DHI Corp (Design House), where they produced content for a library of over 600 products. Currently, Kasey works as a graphic and web designer - digital lead at Gertens, where they work on various websites and upcoming site projects.

Kasey Hurst attended Menomonee Falls High School from 2011 to 2015. After completing high school, they enrolled at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design in 2015 and graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communication Design. While studying at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design, they also pursued minors in Advertising at Marquette University from 2016 to 2018 and in Illustration at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design from 2015 to 2017.
