Caroline Culen

Caroline Culen currently serves as the Head of the Competence Center for Health Promotion and Health Systems at Gesundheit Österreich GmbH since May 2025. Previously, Caroline was the Managing Director at the Österreichische Liga für Kinder- und Jugendgesundheit from January 2019 to September 2025. As a founding member and co-founder of incuko care from May 2014 to September 2025, Caroline provided psychological support for families with chronically ill children. Between January 2011 and January 2019, Caroline worked as a Clinical Psychologist at the Medical University of Vienna, focusing on pediatric endocrinology, pulmonology, and diabetology, while also engaging in transition research. Caroline's career began at die möwe - Kinderschutzzentren from January 2008 to January 2013, where activities included workshops and presentations in the prevention sector. Caroline holds two Doctorate degrees in Public Health from the Medical University of Vienna and has also completed supervision and coaching training from the Berufsverband Österreichischer Psychologinnen und Psychologen.
