Paul Sullivan

Paul Sullivan is a seasoned editor and writer with extensive experience across various sectors. Currently serving as an editor at Scribbr since February 2020 and as a senior editor at AthenaCheck since February 2021, Paul provides editorial support for academic papers and caters to a wide range of students and researchers. Additional freelance editing roles began in October 2018 and include work for business thought-leaders and various publications. Paul has contributed to nine popular history books for The History Press, with the latest due in February 2025. A self-employed freelance editor and copywriter since 1997, Paul has collaborated on numerous projects, including works for Dr. Rachel Gow and Tom Kitching. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in European History from Oxford Brookes University and a BA (Hons) in English Language & Literature from Newcastle University.
