Karen Birch

Karen Birch is an experienced software development and quality assurance professional with a career spanning over 28 years. Currently serving as Software Development Manager at CBORD since June 2006, Karen has held various roles including QA Manager and Software Quality Assurance Supervisor, overseeing a team responsible for manual and automated regression testing on multiple products while collaborating closely with development teams, product managers, and business analysts. Prior to CBORD, Karen worked at Orthstar, Inc. as a Software Engineer, focusing on programming applications for train simulations and testing software for flight controls. Karen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Information Systems from SUNY Institute of Technology and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Herkimer County Community College.
