Deirdre Cody

Deirdre Cody is the managing editor at getAbstract, where they have accumulated over 15 years of editing experience. They have also spent more than 20 years editing academic texts for dyslexic and nonnative English speakers. Previously, Deirdre held roles as a researcher and settlements administrator, and they have contributed to various academic and media projects. Educated with multiple advanced degrees, including an MA in East and Southeast Asian Studies, Deirdre is currently pursuing a certificate in User Experience Design.
