Derek Browen

Derek Browen is an experienced Network Administrator currently employed at Getac Video Solutions since July 2020, where responsibilities include architecting, implementing, securing, and supporting networks to meet various compliance certifications such as Soc2, ISO, CJIS, and Fed-Ramp. Derek's earlier positions include VMware Engineer roles at Hewlett Packard Enterprise and SGI, and extensive experience as a Senior Systems Engineer/Architect at the Center for Diagnostic Imaging, where multiple environments including VMware, Windows Server, Exchange, and SQL were managed. Additional experience at Valspar as a Network Specialist III involved supporting various technological environments and transitioning cybersecurity solutions. Derek began the career as a Support Technician in multiple companies, including Empi and Northgate Computer Systems, and holds a degree in Computer Maintenance and Electronics Technology from South Central College.
