Mathias Wendt Bergmark has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mathias currently serves as a Senior User Experience Designer at GetAccept since August 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as a UX Designer at Handelsbanken i Sverige from September 2017 to August 2020. Additionally, Mathias held leadership positions in the Swedish Kite Federation, serving as Chairman from November 2013 to October 2019.
Mathias also worked as a UX/Interaction Designer at Semcon from March 2015 to September 2017, where they were involved in various in-house projects. Before that, Mathias was an Interaction Designer at Design - Human factors division Semcon, working primarily with Volvo Trucks from August 2010 to March 2015.
In terms of outdoor recreation, Mathias served as the Head Instructor at Kite.se in April 2016. Prior to that, they were a Joint Owner of Surf & Turf, an outdoor recreation company focusing on Stand Up Paddelboarding, from May 2014 to 2016.
Mathias also held roles in the Swedish Kite Federation, serving as Secretary in 2012 and the Kitesurfing Instructor KSA certified at Kite.se from 2009 to 2011.
Before entering the design and recreation industries, they had work experiences as a Project Initiator within the area of intelligent transport systems and GPS for the Swedish Road Administration from September 2009 to July 2010, as well as in sales and customer service at Europcar from May 2009 to July 2009.
Mathias Wendt Bergmark has a diverse education history. In 2006, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Interaction Design from Chalmers University of Technology. Mathias then pursued further education at Umeå University, where they earned another Master of Science (MSc) degree in Interaction Design in 2005. In 2006, they briefly attended the University of Technology Sydney for a course in Design - Visual Communication.
Outside of traditional academic institutions, Mathias also pursued certifications and training in various fields. In 2009, they obtained a certification from the KSA - Kitesurf/Snowkite Association for Kitesurfing. In 2014, they acquired the title Eur.Erg. by completing a certification program in Ergonomics from the Center for Registration of European Ergonomists (CREE). Additionally, they obtained certifications related to their interests in water sports, such as Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) from the International Surfing Association (ISA) in 2014 and another certification from the KSA - Kitesurf/Snowkite Association, although the specific year is not provided.
Moreover, in 2016, Mathias underwent Project Management training at XLPM.
