Oluwaseyi Oluwagbamila

Oluwaseyi Oluwagbamila has held various roles in the data engineering and psychology fields. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Psychologist for Mobile Health Consult Nigeria Limited, where they conducted psychological assessments and diagnostics, procured and coordinated psychotherapeutic sessions, and reported on clients' progress towards recovery. In 2021, they joined Wema Bank Plc. as a Data Engineer, leading the Data Engineering team with best practices to manage on-premises Data Warehouse and databases, and actively participating in the Migration of on-premises Data to the Enterprise Data Warehouse on Microsoft Cloud Services. Oluwaseyi also directed the Data Migration for an Audacious move of the bank to Onboard 1 million Customers on ALAT in one day. In 2020, Oluwaseyi joined getbismart.com as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they led the Visualisation and Business Reporting Unit on Product and Consumer Analytics, worked with Software Engineers to generate Accurate Event tracking and data points for Commercial Mobile Applications and Mobile Games, and conducted Technical Reviews for Data Pipeline Management. Oluwaseyi is currently employed at Piggyvest as a Data Engineer, starting in 2022.

Oluwaseyi Oluwagbamila graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2018. In 2020, they obtained a Python for Data Science: Fundamentals Course certification from Dataquest.io. In 2022, they obtained two Microsoft certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate and Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate.
