Felix Schmidt

Felix Schmidt currently serves as a Mitarbeiter Energieprognose at GETEC ENERGIE since May 2023, focusing on the maintenance of master data for a virtual power plant dedicated to renewable energies. Concurrently, Felix is working as an Event-Wetterberater/Meteorologe at EWB Wetterberatung GmbH since April 2024. Previously, Felix held the position of Geoinformationsingenieur at Bundeswehr from November 2019 to May 2023, where responsibilities included enhancing Python scripts for biometeorology data visualization and providing flight weather briefings for military pilots. Prior experience includes roles as a Praktikant Data Science at HDI Kundenservice AG, a student assistant at both the Institut für Meteorologie und Klimatologie at Leibniz Universität Hannover, and GEO-NET Umweltconsulting GmbH. Felix holds a Master of Science in Praktische Informatik from FernUniversität in Hagen and a Bachelor of Science in Meteorologie from Leibniz Universität Hannover.
