Steve Bourbonnais

Steve Bourbonnais is an experienced entrepreneur and executive in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Co-Founder and CEO of GETenergy since April 2019, where a blockchain-based platform is developed to enhance renewable electricity distribution. Prior to this, Steve founded and led Green Energy Trade SA from September 2015 to December 2019, focusing on utility-scale renewable energy projects. Steve's earlier ventures include co-founding Grid Essence Holdings, where over USD 120 million was raised for solar project development, and serving as Managing Partner at Euro Catalysts Capital SA and New Generation Capital Partners SA, specializing in investment solutions for the energy sector. Steve's career began at Credit Lyonnais Rouse as Head of FX Proprietary Trading, following a role as a Futures Financial Advisor at F.C. Canada Investments. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Bishop's University and completed the Canadian Futures Examination at the Canadian Securities Institute.
