Norman Basch

VP Business Development at Epic

Norman Basch has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Norman started their career as a Financial Analyst at CBS Television Stations in 1981 and later moved on to ABC Television, where they held various positions including Manager of Finance/Business Manager and Unit Manager. In 1993, they joined Electronic Arts as a Manager of Business Development. Norman then briefly worked as a VP of Business Development at Uproar, Inc. in 1999. From 1999 to 2003, Norman was the General Manager of the Interactive Division at FremantleMedia, a unit of Bertelsmann. Norman then became the Director of Business Development at ABC Television from 1997 to 1999. Norman joined Reservoir Labs in 2004 as the General Manager before transitioning to BrainPOP in 2010, where they served as the VP of Business Development until 2013. Norman then worked as a Consultant for Common Sense Media, Flocabulary, A&E Networks, and Amplify from 2013 to 2015. Currently, Norman holds the position of VP of Business Development at Epic!, starting in 2016.

Norman Basch completed their education at two different institutions. From 1979 to 1981, they attended the University of Chicago, Business School, where they earned their MBA with a focus on Finance and Marketing. Following that, from 1982 to 1986, Basch studied at The New School and obtained their MA in Media, specializing in the field of Media.
