Richard Hill is the Co-Founder of Product/Engineering at Grow. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Application Manager at Epic from October 2014 to May 2018. In this role, Richard managed the implementation of multimillion-dollar cardiology healthcare software as part of an integrated Electronic Health Record for 4 large hospital organizations across the country. Richard also became the trusted advisor for hospital executive and physician/nurse leadership and guided the customer through scoping decisions, workflow design, technical configuration, testing, end user training, go-live, and upgrades. Additionally, Richard directly managed 4 project managers and led multiple remote teams of 5-8 analysts on implementations spanning 1-2 years. Richard has also spearhead internal initiatives to improve training curriculum, redesigned mentorship checklists, and feedback processes.
Before their time at Epic, Richard worked as a Student Researcher at UCSF Medical Center from June 2011 to September 2011. Richard also worked as a Laboratory Assistant at UCLA from March 2012 to July 2014.
Richard Hill's educational career consists of a Master of Engineering from Cornell Tech in Computer Science, a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California in Electrical Engineering, and a certification as a Nationally Certified Emergency Medical Technician from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
