Tom Welsh is a Senior Mechanical Engineer in R&D at Getinge, bringing over 40 years of experience in product development across various industries. With a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University, Tom has previously held senior roles at companies such as Merit Industries, Omnyx LLC, and Siemens Healthineers, where they contributed to the design and production of cutting-edge technologies. As the owner of Thought Train, a design firm, Tom focused on innovative product solutions, while also leading efforts in high-stakes projects at BD and St. Jude Medical. Currently, Tom is harnessing their extensive expertise to mentor a team at TECLens, advancing a new restorative vision treatment.
