Jelang R. Kharisma

Jelang R. Kharisma has a diverse work experience in software engineering and graphic design. They started their career as a Graphic Design Lead at CC.Jersey in 2014, where they were responsible for converting customer ideas into printable designs and creating promotional mockups for social media. In 2016, they became self-employed as a Software Engineer, primarily working as a Fullstack Developer and implementing IT solutions to improve business aspects.

In 2018, Jelang worked as a Software Engineer at Dikmenum Dinas Pendidikan Jawa Timur, where they developed a real-time web-based attendance monitoring system for high school teachers in Gresik. They also conducted User Interface and User Experience research at PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental, focusing on creating an ideal vessel maintenance system.

In 2020, Jelang worked as an Instructor at Hacktiv8 Indonesia and SALT Academy, gaining experience in teaching and mentoring individuals in software development. They then joined Xapiens Teknologi Indonesia as a Frontend Engineer, contributing to a comprehensive coal mining digitalization solution as part of a client's ERP. Later, they took on the role of Tech Lead, collaborating with a team of 12 engineers, DevOps, QA, and product owners.

Most recently, Jelang worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Kinobi for a brief period in 2022 before joining Magic, Inc as a Software Engineer.

Jelang R. Kharisma completed their high school education at SMA Negeri 1 Manyar from 2008 to 2011, obtaining a High School Diploma with a focus on Science. They then pursued further studies at the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) from 2011 to 2013, earning an Associate's degree in Statistics. Following that, Jelang enrolled at Universitas Dinamika (Stikom Surabaya) from 2015 to 2019, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Information System.

In addition to their formal education, Jelang R. Kharisma has obtained several certifications. They received an EF SET English Certificate (C2 Proficient) from the EF Standard English Test (EF SET) in July 2022, indicating a high level of English proficiency. They also completed Cyber Security Awareness Essentials certification from the SANS Institute in September 2021, demonstrating their knowledge in cybersecurity. In December 2020, Jelang became an Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner through an IBM certification, highlighting their expertise in applying design thinking principles. Moreover, they completed a Fullstack Javascript Immersive Program from Hacktiv8 Indonesia in February 2020, gaining proficiency in Fullstack Javascript development. Lastly, Jelang became an Oracle Certified Foundations Associate in November 2018, showcasing their competence in Oracle technologies.
