David Chang

David Chang has over 13 years of experience in the software industry. David began their career in 2006 as a Software Consultant at Genesys VG Inc., where they built an outbound calling scheduler. In 2008, they joined The Jonah Group as a Developer and coordinated development efforts as the lead developer on several projects. From 2011 to 2013, David worked at Critical Mass as a Senior Developer, where they led a team of five developers and was heavily involved in nearly all aspects of the project lifecycle. In 2013, they joined Nascent Digital as a Lead Engineer and acted as project manager, delivery manager and technical lead on the Billing and Product Management SCRUM teams. In 2016, David moved to Chefs Plate as a Backend Team Lead and Systems Engineer. In 2019, they joined TOOLBX as the Director of Engineering and Maple (getmaple.ca) as a Senior Manager, Engineering Manager and Full Stack Developer.

David Chang obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Toronto - Innis College between 2003 and 2008. In November 2010, they obtained an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle.
