Philip Alves

Philip Alves, MD, currently serves as an Executive Health Physician at TELUS Santé since March 2022, providing comprehensive family medical and wellness services in Canada. With additional roles as a Family Physician at Maple and Alves Medical Professional Corporation, Dr. Alves has extensive experience in preventative health screening, chronic disease management, and patient education. Previous positions include Staff Physician at Teladoc Health and Medical Consultant at Medcan. Dr. Alves also founded Bloor Village Cosmetic Medicine, where non-surgical facial augmentation services were offered. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Western University and a Master of Translational Medicine from the University of California, Berkeley, among other degrees.
