Selina Miah

Selina Miah currently serves as the Head of People and Culture at Maple, where responsibilities encompass all areas of People & Culture including Talent Attraction, Engagement, Management, Operations & Systems, and Total Rewards since July 2024. Prior to this role, Selina held the position of Director, Head of Talent at Wealthsimple from May 2022 to April 2024, and served as Director of Talent for R&D at Hootsuite from April 2021 to May 2022, where a focus was placed on CTO hiring and promoting diversity and inclusivity. Selina also gained experience at Shopify as Manager of Talent from November 2017 to April 2021, leading a team of over 15 to enhance recruitment efforts, and at OpenText as a Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor for the Americas from August 2015 to November 2017. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Law from the University of Westminster and a Certificate in Recruitment Practice from the Institute of Recruitment Professionals.
