Fouad AlFarhan has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. In 2001, they founded and served as the CEO of SmartInfo, a software development company specializing in solutions for the Arabic market. SmartInfo offered innovative products such as Khaldoon, an Arabic Content Management Solution, Ensyab, a Business Process Management Solution, and Ibyan, a Forms Management Solution.
From 2010 to 2011, AlFarhan worked as a Digital Consultant for Nailam, providing their expertise in digital strategy and development. Following this role, they joined Alsharq Newpaper as a Digital Consultant, where they led the planning, development, launch, and management of Alsharq.net.sa Online.
In 2013, AlFarhan co-founded Rwaq.org, the first and largest Arabic Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform. Fouad served as both a Co-Founder & CEO, overseeing the platform's growth to 3.5 million enrollments and 557 courses. In 2020, they transitioned to the role of Co-Founder & Board Member.
Continuing their entrepreneurial endeavors, AlFarhan went on to co-found multiple ventures starting in 2016. This includes Resal.me, a Fintech company offering digital gift cards and rewards solutions to enhance the experience for businesses and consumers. In 2017, they co-founded 1Pass.app, a platform focused on providing sporting-related content and services. In 2018, they co-founded Aanaab.com, an online platform that facilitates ongoing professional and personal development for Arab teachers through distance learning solutions.

Fouad AlFarhan pursued their education from 1997 to 2000 at Eastern Washington University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing.
